What do we do?

Mais Pelo Jornalismo (MPJ) offers a technological combo for news media sites. This package includes layout design / redesign, hosting server, CMS (text editor and publisher), corporate email accounts, cyber security maintenance, support team, along with other items needed to keep a news website up and running. The idea is to benefit 1,000 local, regional and/or segmented sites with this technological infrastructure.

In addition, we will strive to develop a collaborative network, in which publishers act as partners, exchanging content while having access to training in various sectors, such digital media literacy, racial and environmental issues; participation in government fostering and sponsorship bills; strategies to increase revenue, such as legal advertising; article suggestions to be deployed on the network; courses related to marketing and technology applied to communication, among other initiatives to be developed by the MPJ.

In return, the publishers will only have to commit to uninterrupted production of self-produced content, and to adhering to MPJ's ethical policies, which include not divulging fake news, or content that could misinform. In addition, the site must display authorship information, funding, and privacy, among other items that assert the ownership of media content.
